THE HERITAGE BAG is a project that brings into attention the traditional, by translating it into the new. Not only that, but it makes sure that the message of the past is still readable and relevant to the now. What simply came as a quick vision, the iconic Sibiu Romanian Blouse sleeve sticking out of a basket and forming a cool, summer bag, transformed into a project that means so much more!
A visual campaign in collaboration with curator, author, anthropologist and ethnograph extraordinaire Iulia Gorneanu.
Video Campaign "AUSPICIOUS"
Filmed on the auspicious Summer Solstice Day (Midsummer), and launched on this exact magical day, a short ritual for abundance, where Iulia fills the bag's basket with freshly cut wheat ears, a symbol of the project's success.
VIDEO CAMPAIGN "TRANSFORMED"
What came to mind as a flash of a vision- a blonde beauty, playing with a basket with her Sibiu Traditional Blouse, in the middle of the rich wheat field, came to life in this video campaign. Magically filmed on the Midsummer Day, when all flora reaches the highest ripening, the film celebrates the creation of more than a summer tote, The HERITAGE Bag.
