In Sibiel, Romania, Christian celebrations have been kept with great respect and in all their ancestral detail until today. This painting is a magnification of the way horses are decorated on the day of the Ascension of the Lord: their heads are filled with colorful spring flowers, and large red tassels, and their bodies adorned very much alike.
